When Lazy Met Helmut

When you saw our post yesterday on the Lazy Pant - you probably didn't think today we would be pairing it with a fabulous print Helmut Lang blazer! The Helmut Lang blazer would also look fabulous with distressed denim. That is what fashion and style is all about.  Sweatpants don't have to just mean casual, why not add a little chic! A statement blazer needs to be worn. Don't save it for special occasions, or only wear it during the night. Do you own a sequins skirt? Why not wear it with an off the shoulder sweatshirt? Or wear a jean jacket with a leopard pencil skirt. You have to have fun, and take some risks.

Embrace Colour

What are your thoughts on wearing cobalt blue jeans? Does the colour scare you? Well it shouldn't! Spring 2013 is all about embracing colour, of all shades and tones. Wear cobalt blue the same way you would wear your dark-wash jeans. It's all about baby steps - Wear them with a neutral blazer, we recommend a lighter shade like white, grey, or navy - keep it basic underneath the blazer, and for shoes try a nude pair. If you are going to wear a black blazer, we suggest wearing a nude or tan shoe. Nude shoes will lighten up any colour for spring/summer.
