The Toronto-based designer was greeted with immediate acclaim and
enthusiasm on the Canadian fashion scene by media, retailers, stylists,
and consumers alike. Internationally, Mendonca has shown his collections in
New York, Sao Paolo, London, Montreal, and Los Angeles, where he
opened the Spring 2005 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The collections received
rave reviews from the U.S. media, including accolades from Women's Wear Daily.
